Designing Woman: From Bean Town to the Big Apple

IPG’s designer extraordinaire, Marisa Glick, has been accepted into the prestigious Parsons New School of Design in New York City. Starting this summer, Marisa will begin her pursuit of an MFA at this renowned institute for art and design education. “I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to further explore areas of design that most interest me, such as interactive design,” Marisa says. “I also feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to earn an advanced degree in a field I’ve been interested in since I was a child.” Marisa says she’s excited about the move from the Boston to New York, but when asked if she was considering a change of allegiance from her beloved Red Sox to the Yankees, Marisa designed a rather succinct answer: “No way. Go Sox!”

Our Kind of Town(s)

From its headquarters in Wellesley, Massachussets, IPG has a client base that spans the country. As part of our continuing strategy to provide our broad-based capalities with a personal touch, IPG has established a Midwest office in the Chicago/Milwaukee metropolitan region.

“Ever since we started the company in 1999, we’ve had the privilege of working with some of the country’s best companies, such as Deer & Company, Culligan, Transunion, and Deutsche Bank—all located in the Midwest,” says Joe Corcoran, president of IPG. “By establishing an office in the Chicago area, we’re looking to provide an even higher level of service and responsiveness to these and other clients in the region.”

Heading up the effort will be Director of Business Development Kevin Baumgart. Kevin, a Wisconsin native, has more than 10 years of experience in sales and service. He joined IPG in 2010.

“I’ve lived in this area my entire life and am excited to be a part of IPG’s enhanced presence in the Midwest,” Kevin says. “I’m looking forward to strengthing our relationships with current clients and making others aware of our sales training and leadership development solutions.”
